Polish granite with a professional stone care cleaner when needed to enhance the color of the stone.
After one year, your granite tops will need to be re-sealed. This can be done with an impregnator product from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Don'ts
Never use an abrasive cleaner of any kind.
Don't let acids (lemon juice, vinegar, ammonia) sit on the granite for long.
If you purchased dry treat for your granite, there is no need to seal your granite every year. The dry treat is good for the life of your granite countertops!
Do not apply excessive heat for a long period of time.
